To all Cubs members and families,

 In light of recent federal government announcements along with communications for Baseball Queensland and the GCBA it is with much disappointment that we today inform you that the Summer 2019/2020 season has now officially come to a close with no finals or grand finals to take place.  

 We can confirm that placings at the completion of last week’s final rounds will determine each team’s final standings and we would like to congratulate the following teams;

         LL Majors – Champions

         Intermediate League – Runners Up

         GCBA Snr Div 2 Green – Runners Up

The GCBA have committed to arranging for medallions for these teams to be delivered to us for distribution, actual date TBC.

Further to this we are also faced with the need to cancel our Summer 2019/2020 presentation that was scheduled for this coming Saturday night.  The good news however is that our Cubbies will still be rewarded for their efforts this season.  We would love it if all teams could present to our Gambamora Park base (22 Riversdale Road, Oxenford) this coming Saturday in line with the table below.  This will ensure we comply with restrictions communicated from our local, state and federal governments along with our players receiving their team photos and team awards as per the planned presentation.  The canteen will be open during these time-slots for purchasing of refreshments and we will also be running an Easter raffle for you to support your club.

09.20am – LL Minors Purple
09.40am – LL Minors Green
10.00am – LL Majors
10.20am – Intermediate League
10.40am – Junior League
11.00am – SL Purple
11.20am – SL Green
11.40am – U20

It is unfortunate that we end a great season in this fashion but I’m sure we all appreciate in these uncertain times we are faced with unusual outcome.

 Hope to see you all on Saturday during your allotted time slot and back next season to do it all over again.
