Coomera Cubs Baseball Club appoints new Head Coach

Coomera, Australia – April 24, 2023 – Coomera Cubs Baseball Club are excited to announce Michael Sharp as the new Head Coach of the club!

Michael brings to the role a massive amount of baseball experience not only as a life member of the Golden Grove Central Districts Baseball Club in Adelaide but as a senior member of the GBL team here at the club. Being part of building the culture at the club he is looking forward to running with a talented squad and building off the successes from the last season, as a first time Head Coach.

“From my first day at Coomera signing my daughter up for tee-ball, I have felt a connection to the ball club and its members. I am excited to move from my position in the senior leadership group into the Head Coach position and to work with Glen, Brent, James and the committee to continue to develop strong pathways for our junior talent to represent our club at the highest level.”

With a new feel for the upcoming season the club has a few more exciting announcements as we prepare for the summer season.

The club would also like to recognise Case Bunting’s contribution in the past two seasons. Thanks heaps Case!
