Coomera Cubs Baseball Club appoints new Head Coach

Coomera, Australia – August 12, 2019 – Coomera Cubs Baseball Club are excited to announce Andrew Azzopardi as the new Head Coach  of the club.

Andrew has a wealth of baseball experience from junior representative honours to senior championships in the QLD GBL with Runcorn, GCBA Winter A grade with Coomera and with Blacktown in the NSW State League. With overseas experience in the US Indy ball circuit and signing with the Sydney Bluesox in 2015/16, Andrew has transferred his playing experience to coaching with NSW Women’s State League honours and for the last 3 years leading the Cronulla Major League club as Head Coach.

“It’s a wonderful opportunity to join the Coomera Cubs and continue to develop their young talent through to our senior ranks and beyond.”

Joining Andrew in leading our GBL Div 1 and 2 sides are returning assistant coach Scott Nieass and Brad Devine. Good luck for the season guys!
